Ethiopia or Bust

Africa has been on my heart since I was a little girl, and it seems to be even more of a raw part of my story in the last year and even the past couple of days.

I'm traveling in September with a team of people to live incarnationally, to seek and promote reconciliation and healing in orphans in Ethiopia.

I need to raise $1300 to cover the land costs not including my plane ticket there. If I can have at least 100 friends give $20 or more (that's sacrificing 3 mochas at Starbucks this month) then I can be very close to making my dream a reality.

It's sort of a push - the first half is due very soon - would you consider partnering (prayerfully or financially, or both) with me as I pursue the Godly desires of my heart towards Africa?

We'll leave on September 19 for Addis Ababa. Once we arrive, we'll spend some time at a few of Children's Hope Chest's orphanage sites in and around the city doing small projects and spending time with the kids and staff. We'll do a wide range of things from crafts to feeding to small projects to soccer/sports.

Then we'll head to Awassa--which is about 5 hours outside the city--to do the same at some unsponsored locations.

Most of our kids do not get much one-on-one interaction with adults. These trips are meant to help bring them into relationship, and show them that we'll travel around the world to be with them because of how much they are loved and valued by God.
